FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)

FSC: paper and packaging from responsible sources

The FSC label helps identify the origin of forest-based materials used in a product or its packaging. Read the full label to understand which material it refers to.

The three FSC labels

  • FSC 100%: materials from FSC-certified forests.
  • FSC Recycled: forest-based materials verified as recycled.
  • FSC Mix: a combination of FSC-certified materials, recycled materials and/or controlled wood under the FSC system.

Choosing amenities for your hotel

For guest amenities and paper packaging, check the individual product description and the label on the packaging. Paper certification applies to the specified component and should be distinguished from cosmetic formula certifications or the characteristics of other materials.

Explore our hotel guest amenities and read our information on collection certifications.

For the meaning of the labels, see the Forest Stewardship Council.

Paper packaging and product information

When comparing products, check the label on the packaging and the description of the individual item. The certified component and label type identify the relevant characteristics.
